Grace, as a child, playfully learnt the practice of laying down Kolam. It was only many years later that she realized how all her dance and art work connected with the Kolam as a language: a language of the earth, the forces at play in nature, inside and around us. Painting one Kolam cluster within its similar kind, to reveal in visual poetry its inner realm, has become a life journey for her. Poems in Kolam Language are dedicated to the Divine presence within.
